Candidates should have a solid knowledge of parish council law and procedures. The successful candidate will be CiLCA qualified or required to achieve CiLCA within two years.

The role requires a high level of literacy, IT, administration, staff management and communication skills. The council operates a cemetery and experience in this would be advantageous.

This is a part-time position at 25 hours per week, office based, with some working from home, and attendance at monthly evening meetings.

The role is in the NALC pay scale 25 to 32 (FTE salary range of £35k to £42k, dependent on experience and qualification).
